Shown below is an imaged view of a landscape design followed by a photo of the yard after installation.
An unused lawn is replaced with a flagstone patio, flagstone stepping stones, low water use plants, gravel and a small vegetable garden.
In the example below, a native Carex lawn has been planted with flowering shrubs and perennials.
Small spaces can present an interesting challenge as every square inch must be carefully considered and utilized - the end result being cozy and comfortable, outdoor garden room, living areas.
"We worked with Donna for five years, both as a designer and landscape maintenance consultant and found her to be very talented and service oriented - a pleasure to work with." - Dave, Montecito
"Donna was a pleasure to work with. She listened to our ideas regarding a drought tolerant and edible landscape, and came back with a beautifully designed yard space. The digital renderings made it extremely easy to envision what the finished yard would look like, and were invaluable in our decision making process. On top of that Donna completed the design very swiftly and was very affordable. If you're debating hiring a designer, do yourself a favor and work with Donna! The investment was well worth her expertise and design. Thanks so much for your help!" - Steve K., Phelan CA
CAD Landscape Plans, Virtual 3D Landscape Rendering, Digital Landscape Photo Imaging
Drafted scale drawings of hardscape features (patios, paths, walls, pergolas, etc), water features, plants and lighting, using professional CAD software, result in
precise, easy to read plans. During the *design process, photo imaging or 3D rendering software is used as a design tool to aid in visualizing the proposed finished product. Unique plant
palettes are created for each client based on location, personal taste and unique site conditions.
*Web conferencing is used to conduct online meetings during the design development process. Clients are invited to view my computer desktop where I am able to display plant palette photos, site photos, the CAD plan, imaging photos or 3D renderings. In addition, we are able to visit websites pertinent to the plants or materials used in the design.

Please submit the form below so that I can have an idea of what is involved in your project . From there we can schedule an appointment for me to come take a look at your
property. Generally there is a combination of on-site and online meetings.
Often I am invloved in the installations of my designs, working with local landscape contractors and trade persons.
Regular reviews on a monthly or occassional basis to ensure that the landscape is looking it's best.
***If you aren't in possession of a scale drawing, site plan of your property, I recommend that you obtain one from an online site such as www.24hplans.com. I suggest the Complex version for $159.99. In order to proceed with a design, I would need a detailed site plan indicating house on the lot, driveway, existing plants and any other information that would be necessary in order to get started.
